| Heating system: heating plates from polymer concrete
The heating plates provide an even distribution of warmth inside the farrow nest.
Their temperature is maintained by hot water running through a copper-snake inside the plate.
Depending on the customer requirements, we offer heating plates to ‘lay-IN’ or to ‘lay-ON’ the surrounding steel grating; with connections on the upper or bottom sides. This way we are able to meet any demand with regard to the heating plates, irrespective of the given individual steel gratings and connection pipelines.
All our heating plates are deliverable in the versions with insulation (Eco+) as well as without (Eco). Moreover, a high flexibility of sizes is offered.
For a heating area of 0.6 m², approx. 150 Watt heat capacity is required.
