| Chimney damper
The chimney damper enables a controlling of the exhausting air that streams through the ventilation pipe. Hereby, the exhausting air volumes are regulated through the opening angle of the damper.
We offer the following different options of the damper, depending on your requirements:
- Regulating damper module
The RDM consists of a chimney damper activated by a servo-motor (the servo-motor is offered optionally), an intake-nozzle, a motor cover, and a pipe socket.
The module is completely mounted when delivering.
- Manually operated chimney damper
- Motor-driven chimney damper
These dampers can be regulated in a modulated way or as an on/off-version.
- Butterfly chimney damper (material: stainless special steel)
This damper opens in dependence to the speed of the air-stream, i.e. the higher the air stream, the more opened the damper.
The butterfly chimney damper is also available as an «overlying top chimney damper». The latter overlies on the pipe-top and thus protects the pipe-interior against rainwater supplementary to the diffuser.
- Overlying top chimney damper
In case of exceptional climatic conditions, it is possible that the rainwater enters the ventilation shaft. In this case, the «overlying top chimney damper» can be used. This damper overlies on the pipe-top and thus protects the pipe-interior.
The top chimney damper can be regulated either by the air-stream speed or by an actuator.
